Description: At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
Recognize the prevalence of respiratory tract infections (RTIs) and increased resistance against RTI pathogens by citing statistics from pertinent studies
Demonstrate understanding of national treatment guidelines by describing diagnosis and treatment recommendations
Select the most effective therapy by describing the mechanisms of action advantages and disadvantages of available treatments
Improve the outcomes and quality of life for patients by practical implementation of the guidelines careful patient counseling and monitoring of adherence
