Description: At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to: Recognize orthopedic injuries that should be splinted Properly apply the most commonly used splints Learn about proper positioning and padding for splints Gain confidence and have fun with the use of Orthoglass splinting material Splinting workshops I & II are identical workshops. The same material will be discussed in each of the workshops. Please come dressed in shorts and T-shirts since you will be actively involved and handling the splinting material. This is a basic workshop and is intended for those who have limited splinting experience or are in need of a refresher course. It will be a fun and relaxed environment in which questions are encouraged and you will have plenty of time to work with the materials. Come ready to learn, get hands-on experience with splinting material and have fun!
