Description: At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
explain just how vulnerable allied health professionals, including Physician Assistants, are to the allegations of medical malpractice
identify common causes of medical malpractice
avoid the "pitfalls" of medical malpractice by incorporating risk management strategies in their practice of medicine
use analogies, to improve interactions with each patient

The "pitfalls of medical malpractice" have been clearly identified for the medical profession. Fortunately all of these risks can be pre-empted or minimized by a few simple common sense risk management strategies which can be easily incorporated into the office, clinic or hospital setting. As you know the "Best Defense Is A Good Offense". This presentation will show you how to avoid those "pitfalls of medical malpractice". These benefits will be passed along to the patients by way of better care with fewer errors.
