Description: At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to: List the signs and symptoms of lower respiratory tract emergencies in children, such as asthma and bronchiolitis
Pediatric respiratory illnesses are a common in primary care and PAs should be familiar with the presentation of asthma, bronchiolitis, croup, bacterial tracheitis and retropharyngeal abcesses. This lecture will review the the signs and symptoms of the most commonly encountered respiratory diseases in children and also discuss the management approach.
