Discuss the current controversy surrounding the use of etomidate
List the 7 steps involved in rapid sequence intubation

Rapid sequence intubation is a skill required by anyone practicing medicine in the emergency setting. Although widely accepted for emergency intubations, this technique still engenders some areas of controversy. The speaker will discuss the current areas of controversy in rapid sequence intubation.
