Description: At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
Describe key aspects of the epidemiology of genital HPV infection and its transmission
Assess the efficacy of a vaccine targeting HPV types associated with 70% of cervical cancers (types 16 and 18)and 90% of genital warts (types 6 and 11)
Review the guidelines of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices for the use of a vaccine against HPV
