The AAPA Caucus Congress will function as the coordinating body for all caucuses recognized by the House of Delegates. The Caucus Congress will establish and maintain communication with the AAPA House of Delegates Board of Directors, and committees and councils for the purpose of representing the interests of the caucuses. The Caucus Congress holds an annual meeting, at which time a delegate will be elected.

The AAPA Federal Services Congress represents physician assistants who are members of an approved AAPA federal service constituent organization, (e.g., Air Force, Navy, Army, Public Health Service, Veterans Affairs PA Association) who work in the federal service sector or who are retired federal service physician assistants and are fellow members of the AAPA. The Federal Services Congress will establish communication between that constituency and the AAPA Board of Directors and House Officers.

The Medical Congress will function as the representative of all physician assistants who are members of medical specialty PA organizations recognized by the Academy and of all other physician assistants practicing in medical disciplines. The Medical Congress will establish communication with the AAPA Board of Directors and House of Delegates for the purposes of representation, consultation, and recommendations in matters pertaining to physician assistants in medical specialties.

The AAPA Surgical Congress will establish communication with and be responsible to the AAPA Board of Directors and the House Officers for the purpose of representation, consultation, and recommendations in matters pertaining to surgical physician assistants and surgical specialties.
