This application is for current Fellow and Sustaining Members, in good standing, of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Distinguished Fellow Recognition shall be reserved for those Academy members who exemplify the principles on which the Academy was founded and demonstrate commitment to the Physician Assistant Profession.

Membership in the Academy is an honor that confers upon the individual certain rights and responsibilities, not the least of which is the commitment to patients and the delivery of quality healthcare services to all. The Distinguished Fellow Program of AAPA recognizes those member PAs who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to the PA profession, their commitment to advancing health care for all people, and their exemplary personal and professional development.

  • Distinction in medical practice, education, research, or health care management

  • Community service

Recognition of AAPA Fellow or Sustaining members whose achievements have earned them a distinguished status among their fellow PAs will occur at AAPA’s Annual PA Conference.
